Colour Mixing Techniques
Understanding colour harmonies.
Practical exercises in mixing and applying colours.
Module 3: Brush Techniques and Styles
Brushwork Fundamentals Different brush strokes and their effects.
Experimentation with texture and layering.
Styles in Painting Realism, impressionism, abstract, and other styles.
Finding your unique painting style.
Module 4: Composition and Design
Elements of Composition Rule of thirds, balance, focal points.
Creating visually compelling paintings.
Expressive Techniques Techniques to convey emotions and narratives.
Using symbolism and metaphor in painting.
Module 5: Final Project
Students work on a final painting that incorporates the skills learned throughout the course. Individualized feedback and critique sessions.
